Friend, can I just say something?
Speaker AI cannot truly believe that we are here today.
Speaker A1,000 episodes.
Speaker AAnd for me, that means you showed up.
Speaker AThat wasn't always perfect.
Speaker AIt wasn't always on time.
Speaker ABut you kept coming back.
Speaker AAnd I believe you came back for peace and not pressure, for wisdom and not shame.
Speaker AAnd today I just want to celebrate this special milestone with you.
Speaker ABecause this isn't about a number.
Speaker AIt's about the people behind the number.
Speaker AIt's about you.
Speaker ASo here's the question I want to answer today.
Speaker AWhat have we learned after 1000 episodes of faith and Finance?
Speaker AAnd I want to give you a simple takeaway.
Speaker AAnd then I want to thank you from the bottom of my.
Speaker AHey, friend.
Speaker ARalph Eastep, Jr.
Speaker AHere.
Speaker AWelcome to this special episode of Financially Confident Christian, where we learn how to walk through life and money with wisdom, with peace, and with a heart anchored in God's truth every day.
Speaker AMy mission is pretty simple here.
Speaker AI want to help you break that cycle of financial shame and build steady habits deeply rooted in faith and become the kind of person who handles money with clarity and calm.
Speaker ASo just welcome so much for being here today.
Speaker AAnd I go back to thinking about episode 1000.
Speaker AIt feels unreal for me to be honest.
Speaker AAnd before I teach anything today, I just want to say thank you.
Speaker AThank you for listening.
Speaker AThank you for trusting me.
Speaker AThank you for trusting me with something as personal as your money.
Speaker AThank you for being honest about the stress and honest about the regret and honest about the fear.
Speaker AAnd despite all those things, thank you for choosing growth.
Speaker AAnyway, and if you were sitting across from me right now, I think you might ask this, Ralph, after all this, what's the biggest thing I need to remember?
Speaker ASo today I just want to give you a few things I've learned, and maybe you'll hear one you needed today.
Speaker ABecause if we're being real, money is one of those topics that doesn't just live in your wallet.
Speaker AIt lives in your chest.
Speaker AIt follows you to the grocery store.
Speaker AIt shows up in your marriage.
Speaker AIt creeps into your sleep or the lack thereof.
Speaker AAnd sometimes you're not anxious because you're irresponsible, anxious because you've been trying as hard as you can try.
Speaker ASo if you've ever felt behind, if you've ever felt embarrassed, if you've ever felt tired.
Speaker AFriend, I want to start by saying today you are not alone.
Speaker ASo here's what I've learned along this journey.
Speaker AI'm going to share with you a few lessons.
Speaker AHere's the first thing.
Speaker AShame never changed anybody Shame doesn't build budgets.
Speaker AShame doesn't create discipline.
Speaker AShame just makes you hide.
Speaker ABut grace, grace turns a light on without burning you.
Speaker AHere's the second thing.
Speaker ASmall steps are never small.
Speaker AOne saved dollar one.
Speaker AHonest budget, one.
Speaker ANo, you didn't think you could say.
Speaker AThat's not nothing.
Speaker AThat's training and that's faithfulness.
Speaker AHere's number three.
Speaker APeace is a financial goal.
Speaker ANot just more money, not just more stuff.
Speaker APeace.
Speaker AThe kind of peace where you can breathe again.
Speaker AThe kind of peace where you can give again.
Speaker AAnd the kind of peace where you can sleep again.
Speaker AHere's number four.
Speaker AGod is not asking for perfection.
Speaker AHe's asking for honesty.
Speaker AHe's asking for honesty about what's coming in.
Speaker AHonesty about what's going out and honesty about what you're carrying.
Speaker AAnd when you bring that to him, he doesn't shame you.
Speaker AHe helps you.
Speaker AAnd number five, you were never meant to do this alone.
Speaker ACommunity matters.
Speaker AEncouragement matters.
Speaker AA plan matters.
Speaker AA steady voice matters.
Speaker ASometimes you don't need another tip.
Speaker AYou need a reminder that you can keep going.
Speaker AAnd I hope for you that's what this show has become.
Speaker AAnd let me share this from the book of James, chapter one, verse five.
Speaker AIt says this.
Speaker AIf any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.
Speaker AFriend, listen to what that says.
Speaker AWithout finding fault.
Speaker AThat means God isn't standing there with a clipboard keeping score.
Speaker AHe's standing there with open hands.
Speaker AHow about we pray together?
Speaker ALord, thank you for every person listening today.
Speaker AThank you for carrying them through seasons of stress and uncertainty.
Speaker AGive them wisdom without fear, Lord.
Speaker AGive them courage without shame, Lord.
Speaker AAnd most of all, give them peace that steadies their heart and strengthens their home.
Speaker AAnd I ask this in the precious name of Jesus.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker ASo here's your small step for today.
Speaker AI'd love it if you would share this show with just one person.
Speaker AJust think of one person out there right now.
Speaker AMaybe you've got a friend who's stressed or a couple trying to breathe.
Speaker AMaybe a single parent caring too much.
Speaker AAnd I just want you to send them this episode and say, something like this helped me.
Speaker AMaybe it'll help you too.
Speaker AAnd if you've never left a review for this show, today would be a beautiful day to do that.
Speaker AIt helps more people find a shame free place to grow.
Speaker ASo, friend, I don't take this lightly.
Speaker A1,000 episodes means a thousand chances to point you back to hope.
Speaker AAnd I am so grateful you let me be a voice in your day.
Speaker ASo from my heart to you, thank you for being here.
Speaker AAnd friend, just remember this.
Speaker AYou don't have to fix everything today.
Speaker AYou just got to take that next faithful step.
Speaker AGod is with you.
Speaker AAnd I can say this in confidence.
Speaker AYou are becoming a financially confident Christian.
Speaker ASo as I always say, stay financially savvy.
Speaker AMay God Almighty bless you and I'll see you on the next show.
